Replacement lanyards available Quick release Long and extra long poles available Based on the proven MDC grasper design, the heavy duty dog pole is ideal for dealing with known dangerous dogs and is appropriately robust in construction. The handle is made of 32mm diameter high-grade aluminium tube, whilst the lanyard has been tested to 350kg (750lb) loading. Once a dog has been secured the lanyard can be held in position by means of a 4 position patent locking device. The lanyard can, if necessary, be instantly released by means of a cable operated spring-loaded latch. A strong plastic sleeve over the lower part of the pole protects the animal’s teeth if it should attempt to bite it. The pole is available in two lengths 110cm and 150 cm with replacement lanyards obtainable for both.
