Additionally, POLISEPT VET Wound Gel 30ml cleanses wounds of biological contaminants generated during wound healing and protects wounds from external infection. Application of POLISEPT VET Wound Gel: POLISEPT VET Wound Gel is an active dressing in the form of a hydrocolloid gel for use on all types of wounds. It is used as an adjunct in the treatment of: Surgical wounds. Acute infected and sterile wounds. Chronic wounds (pressure sores, ulcers of various origins). Wounds with dry or liquefying necrosis. Superficial and deep wounds (lacerated, bitten, with recesses and pockets). First and second degree burns. Product composition: Ingredients : polyhexanidine (PHMB), undecylenoamidopropyl betaine (Betaine). Contains two synergistically acting active substances contained in a hydrocolloid gel: Effectively moisturizes the wound and regulates water and gas exchange in the wound. Adsorbs wound exudate. Effectively removes inorganic mechanical impurities, as well as organic impurities, necrotic tissue, fibrin fibers, and blood clots.
