Description

Polisept Vet H 3 dressings Sterile dressing containing a hydrocolloid layer for dogs and cats. Sterile direct dressing containing a hydrocolloid layer covered with a semi-permeable film. The dressing provides wound isolation and creates and maintains a balanced, moist environment, ideal for granulation and cuticle processes. In contact with the exudate from the wound, the hydrocolloid layer of the dressing increases its volume, forming a soft, yellowish gel under which the healing process takes place. The package contains 3 pieces of dressing. Application: POLISEPT VET® H can be used on shallow wounds with flowing necrotic tissue, wounds in the granulation phase and early stage of epidermis, chronic wounds, difficult to heal and bedsores. Wound exudate level: medium or small. How to use: Wash the wound if necessary (in case of necrosis, its layers should be removed before applying the dressing). Dry the skin surrounding the wound. Choose the size of the dressing in such a way that it covers the entire surface of the wound. Leave an additional 2-3 cm margin (if it is necessary to cover a large wound, several overlapping dressings can be applied). Place the POLISEPT VET® H dressing directly on the wound surface and gently press the edges of the dressing. In contact with the exudate from the wound, the hydrocolloid layer of the dressing increases its volume, forming a soft yellowish gel, under which the healing process takes place. When the dressing is changed, it can be easily removed without trauma and painlessly.
