This padded dressing prevents excessive pressure on the limb and prevents constriction and pressure points underneath the dressing. Due to the gauze layer, adhesion of the dressing cotton to wounds or suture material is avoided and wound healing is not impaired. This roll of absorbent gauze for horses can be easily shortened down to the desired length and, therefore, individually cut to the patient. The padded dressing can be secured with gauze or cohesive bandages, and the absorbent gauze can also be used as bandage underpadding.
