Beaphar Complete Hedgehog Food is a premium, nutritionally balanced dry feed designed specifically for hedgehogs. Suitable for both wild garden visitors and hedgehogs in rescue care, this specialised recipe provides high-quality energy, essential fats, and vital nutrients to keep hedgehogs healthy throughout the active seasons.

Formulated to support natural foraging instincts, this mix contains a wholesome blend of extruded pellets, dried apple, peanut meal, and dried black soldier fly larvae. Unlike formulations containing mealworms—which can cause dangerous calcium-to-phosphorus imbalances—this recipe provides a safe, optimal calcium-to-phosphorus ratio to help protect against metabolic bone disease while delivering easily digestible, eco-friendly insect protein.

Key Benefits:

• High Protein & Balanced Nutrition: Contains 36% crude protein enriched with essential vitamins (A, D3, E, C, and B-complex) to promote strong muscles and vitality.
• Mealworm-Free Formulation: Formulated without mealworms to maintain a healthy calcium-to-phosphorus ratio (1.4% Ca : 0.7% P).
• Natural Insect Protein: Includes 5% dried black soldier fly larvae (Hermetia illucens) for natural, sustainable nourishment.
• Delicious Natural Ingredients: Enriched with dried apples and peanut meal for high palatability and varied texture.

Feeding Guide:

Offer a fresh portion each evening in a shallow, clean dish, removing any uneaten food the following morning. Always ensure a separate, shallow dish of fresh drinking water is accessible. Never feed hedgehogs cow's milk, as they are naturally lactose-intolerant.
